The Events Center
Stockton
The Events Center is a 20-acre Brownfield project located in downtown Stockton
on the waterfront. Throughout the late 1800's the site was called Banner Island
and was home to the Mudville 9 baseball team. It is rumored that the Casey at
the Bat song originated from this team. As industry took off in the early 1900's
this area quickly became a shipping and manufacturing center. As part of the on
going redevelopment effort the City built a new Ballpark to house the Minor
league Stockton Ports baseball team, and a 10,000 seat multi-use Arena to house
a new Minor league hockey team, indoor soccer team, and an arena football club.
Siegfried Engineering provided all the master planning, civil engineering, mapping, and surveying
for the project.
