The Cinema and Hotel Restoration epitomizes the meaning of redevelopment. The project consisted of constructing a new Cinema adjacent to the 105 year old Stockton Hotel which was being structurally retrofitted and turned into a retail center and housing project. The Cinema posed its own challenges as the Siegfried Engineering team replaced a 72" storm main that runs under the building without taking the old main out of service due to tidal issues. The SEI team also designed a new basement access parking ramp for the Hotel Project that seamlessly integrates into the plaza that ties the two projects together.
