Reclamation District 2074

Since the completion of the levee improvements for Brookside Estates abutting District 2074, Siegfried Engineering has:
  • Performed regularly scheduled levee patrols
  • Coordinated and scheduled levee maintenance projects such as vegetation control, pest control and the repair of damaged levees
  • Monitored and policed construction activities of 213 residential lots abutting levees
  • Monitored levels of man-made lakes within the 1200-acre District for flood control purposes
  • Performed boundary, topographic and hydrographic surveys for use in District design and maintenance activities
  • Completed the 2004 hydrographic levee assessment (conditions) with a multi-beam sounder. The hydrographic survey was performed to determine the extent and limits of erosion, sediment deposits and scouring
