Siegfried was selected as the prime consultant to prepare civil and landscape architectural plans for the three block extension of the Weber Avenue Beautified Corridor in downtown historic Stockton, CA. The focus of the project is to link the RTD Transit Center with the Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) Train Station which are approximately five blocks apart along Weber Avenue. The enhanced streetscape and walkways will encourage pedestrian and bike flow from one facility to another and promote business growth along the extended Weber corridor. In addition, Siegfried designed and added over 1,200 LF of 24" storm drainage piping to relieve the area of historical flooding issues it was facing. As the prime consultant Siegfried utilized the services of an environmental firm to prepare the CEQA and NEPA clearance documents for the project.
