Sewer Rehabilitations

Over the years, Siegfried has worked with the City of Stockton Municipal Utilities Department on several sewer rehabilitation projects triggered by aging sewer lines and storm mains, lack of capacity, and root penetration problems. In Phase I, Siegfried was tasked with designing a comprehensive solution to either up-size or repair the approximately 2,000 LF of pipeline. Siegfried prepared plans and profile drawings, technical specifications, CCTV review, and engineer's estimates for the sewer mains. The repairs were designed utilizing pipe bursting techniques which allowed for minimal ground disturbance and lower construction costs. The storm main design was not executed due to emergency repairs, however, the sewer mains were either replaced or upsized utilizing pipe bursting methods. The second phase of repairs consisted of surveying, preparing plans, technical specifications, engineer's estimates for construction, and CCTV reviews for the replacement or rehabilitation of various sanitary sewer lines throughout the City. This phase of pipeline rehabilitation employed multiple methods including pipe bursting, lining, and open-cut. Siegfried is currently working on the third phase of sewer rehabilitations with the City.
