Siegfried provided the City of Richmond with three conceptual park sketches for their Wendell Park, Burg Park, and Shields-Reid Park. Park elements included open space designs, pedestrian and bicycle trails and pathways, tennis and basketball courts, play structures, seating areas, gardens, baseball and soccer fields, arbors, gazebos, children's play area, and new trees and plantings. The park designs were provided in the conceptual phase for our submitted request for proposal response to the City. Although not ultimately selected, Siegfried took the effort to visit all three sites, take photographs of the existing conditions, and develop three concepts that were presented to the City. Our efforts earned us a great reputation with the City and we continue to pursue parks and landscape architecture projects with them.
