DeCarli Square

Siegfried provided civil engineering, structural engineering, and surveying services to the City of Stockton's Public Works Department for the improvements of the Dean DeCarli Plaza and the adjacent seawalls. Improvements to the plaza infrastructure included seawalls, retaining walls, street improvements, grading, water, sewer lines, and storm drainage facilities. The seawall and storm drainage improvements increased the City's ability to defend against flooding in times of heavy rain. The design and construction of the seawalls enabled the City to develop the plaza which provides a great downtown setting where many events are held each year.
